TRABZON
Dear guests, our journey begins at 09:30 as we pick you up in Trabzon and set off on our tour. Our first stop is after a 45-minute drive, passing through Maçka district, where we take a short break for photography at the waterfall area in Altındere Valley. Following this, we proceed to the observation terrace, where we capture distant views of Sumela Monastery and the breathtaking surrounding nature.
We continue our journey and arrive at the closest point accessible by vehicle to Sumela Monastery. From here, we take a 10-minute walk to reach the entrance gate, where we begin our 60–75 minute guided visit to the monastery. After our visit, we return to the vehicle and proceed through the Zigana Pass (tunnel), stopping briefly for another photography break.
Our next destination is Karaca Cave, where we embark on a 60-minute exploration of the cave. Scientifically, the cave’s air is believed to be beneficial for individuals suffering from asthma. Upon completing our visit, we head to Torul, where we visit the recently constructed Torul Glass Terrace, one of Turkey's highest glass observation decks, and allow time for photography.
Following this, we proceed towards Hamsiköy via the historic Silk Road. Upon arrival, we have the opportunity to taste the region’s famous rice pudding (sütlaç) at its origin. After this stop, we make our way back to Trabzon, concluding our tour around 19:00.
